Your digital hat draw, wherever everyone is
All the fun of folded paper in a hat, without needing everyone around the same table. Create an online hat for names, film suggestions, party games or the plans your group can never settle on.
Fill the hat together
Choose “Invite people to contribute” and write a prompt such as “What should we do on Saturday?” Share the contribution link. People type plain-text notes, which fold up and drop into your chosen hat. The creator cannot read submitted notes through the management page.
Know when the group is ready
Add a list under “Who are we waiting for?” to track participation. Each person selects their name when contributing. You can see who has participated, but not which note they wrote. For these protected hats, drawing opens once everyone has joined in, and nobody draws their own submission.
Already have the options?
Skip collection by choosing “I’ll add the possibilities”. Enter one option per line and go straight to the draw. Use an options hat for films, food or activities, or people mode when each participant needs a different person.
Share the right link
The contribution link collects notes; the draw link reveals results. The management link is your private key to the hat, so save it before closing your browser, especially in an incognito window. Hats close after 30 days or once all their notes have been drawn.
